The LEGO SMART Play System (Source: LEGO)
Forget flying cars, LEGO announced what it’s calling its “biggest innovation since ever” at CES 2026: The SMART Play System. According to the company, the SMART Brick “has responsive lights, a color-recognition scanner to sense its surroundings, a sound synthesizer that plays almost any sound, and a built-in accelerometer. This detects the way it is twisted, turned and tapped during play. All this juicy tech means it can react to how kids play – and then play back!”
But some folks still think THIS will finally be the year of the flying car.
