Amid all the robots and TVs and gadgets at CES 2026, Disney Advertising made some media news with its annual Global Tech & Data Showcase. The company announced that it will move into the vertical video and micro-content space in the coming year. “In addition to the vertical video push,” according to The Hollywood Reporter, “executives from the company leaned into technology and artificial intelligence during the presentation, with AI-powered ad planning tools, and more notably an AI video generation tool meant to allow advertisers quickly develop and deploy CTV-ready ad spots.” The company also unveiled a new Brand Portal, which Disney said “will allow advertisers access to their unique, comprehensive campaign results alongside category benchmarks and real-world industry metrics and trends – all in one place – providing a clear view of campaign performance, what’s working, and the impact of a brand’s media investments across Disney’s platforms.”
