Why go to Las Vegas, just a few days into the New Year?

It’s a firsthand look at the future of tech, media, and more. In the words of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organization who produces the event, CES is “where the world’s biggest brands do business and meet new partners, and the sharpest innovators hit the stage.” ​

Starting the week of January 5, 2026, innovators, decision-makers, media, influencers, visionaries, and leading brands will gather in Las Vegas.

More than 142,000 participants from across the globe converged in Las Vegas to explore groundbreaking technologies in 2025. There were more than 4,500 registered exhibitors and 305 of the Fortune Global 500 companies participated at the event.

In 2026, WPP Media will continue to host tours at both exhibit halls (Las Vegas Convention Center and the Venetian Expo) and help our clients navigate a robust schedule of events, panels, and social gatherings. 5 tips for surviving CES

Whether you’re a CES rookie or an experienced veteran, here are some things to keep in mind to make your experience that much more enjoyable and efficient.

  • You’re going to be spending a lot of time on your feet and logging a lot of steps on the fitness tracker.

  • Vegas can get cold in January, especially at night. And some folks find the air conditioning inside a little too cool for comfort.

  • From point A to B: With 150,000 extra people descending on Las Vegas, expect taxis and ride-shares to be maxed out … and traffic to be slow.

    From door to destination: Just because you’ve made it to the entrance of your event venue doesn’t mean you’re there. The distance between front door to meeting location can be upwards of 15 to 20 extra minutes.

  • Those battery packs and chargers (if you can find an outlet) are going to be lifesaving if you want to stay connected on your devices. Bring backup and reinforcements.

  • We will be in the middle of a desert. Whether you’re exposed to the elements outside or in the comfort of climate-controlled interiors, be sure to stay hydrated with water.

Registering for CES and gaining access to venues

Navigating key venues and everything between

We’ve offered WPP Media clients complimentary Exhibits Plus Passes. These allow you access to the CES show floor, CES keynotes, and C Space at the ARIA Casino and Resort. To pick up your badge, you must present the following:

  1. Government-issued photo ID

  2. Registration confirmation – either saved in your Google or Apple wallet or confirmation email (likely from email_confirm@exl.eventshq.com) with QR code to scan

While there are a dozen venues for CES events in Las Vegas, there are the three main locations you’ll likely be spending the bulk of your time (but don’t let it stop you from exploring what Las Vegas has to offer).

Getting around and allowing time for it

Getting from one CES venue to another by foot will not always be feasible and travel by car means additional time needed to account for wait times and traffic. Taxi and rideshare lines tend to be long, especially at the start and close of the show each day. Here’s information on monorails, shuttles, and other transportation options.

Need a private space for a meeting?

Finding space for a quick meeting (let alone somewhere to sit comfortably) has become a hot commodity when it comes to CES. WPP Media has a few options, including bookable spaces at the ARIA Sky Suites. Contact your client lead for availability and more information.
